Question about Redtip SS "+"

I just got my first Redtip! This one's been on my list of must haves, and I was fortunate to find one in good shape at an antique store. It's a C4 date code.

After cleaning it up, I noticed two "+"s on the bottom plate. A little research revealed that this is a more aggressive head, some even comparing it to a Fatboy on 7.

I shave with a Slim, and the sweet spot for me is a 4 with a Shark stainless blade. 5 is a little too aggressive for me, 4 just right.

For those of you in the know, will this Redtip be too aggressive for me? I've read a range of opinions, describing the "+" as matching a 4-5 on a Fatboy, to a 7 or more. I wanted to ask specifically how the "+" compares to a Fatboy or Slim before I fire it up.

I had my first shave with it today. I had a nice BBS with my Slim yesterday, so there wasn't much to shave, and I was using a Shark SS on it's last day, but it was perfectly balanced and smooth, smooth, smooth. I can tell I'm going to love this one.
