Got a pack sealed, made in Canada. I assume they are the same as the US Platinum plus because the despenser and markings are nearly identical. Now onto my question, upon opening the first 3 blades have discoloration in places that looks like brassing. The 4th was flawless so I loaded it up and have had a two great shaves with it but upon looking at the blade it appears to be rusting on the surface, none on the edges that I can tell. Did I just get a bad batch that made it through quality control back in the day or is this normal?

Maybe there was a mix up with one of the rolls of steel or they were sent a bad batch--if that's even possible. I have never seen any evidence of rust on a Platinum Plus, but it's very curious that you found the first few were already discolored fresh out of a sealed pack.
