Question about AD?

About a year ago I set out to find the best shave that money can buy.I've spent a crap load of money and survived several ADs in my shaving journey. By trial and error, I have found out that I love taylors's avocado, Proraso White, my Merkur HD is the first and best razor I've tried, and that Blue Bird blades provide the best smoothness\sharpess ratio.

Although logic dictates that I have completed my mission to find the absolute closest shave I can get, why don't I give a damn? I want to try Salter creams, I want to learn how to straight shave, I want to learn how to use soaps properly. What the hell is wrong with m

Don't worry about what's wrong with you. The cost of one visit to a shrink will fill your cupboard with all kinds of the neatest soaps, blades, a scuttle maybe!

i hear you and you're not alone

i thought i'd escaped the ADs. 1/12 into wet shaving and i was very happy with my 38C and my EJ BB brush. i love the TOBS avocado.

so i started off just buying a sample kit of shave creams, aftershaves and colognes. and i thought i'd sample different blades too - i mean, that's just trying some out, right, it's not an AD. i don't really need them and i'm sure i can stop whenever i want

next i bought a soap from another shave site - just to try you understand.

and *then* i found an on line site with tabac at a great price and free international shipping. so now i have 2 x 300ml bottles of the cologne and 2 soap-in-dishes on the way.

and i *need* to get a couple of bottle of Brut aftershave - because it smells so good. and i'm sure i can stop after that. i mean, who needs more than that. i already have 1 bottle of aramis EDC and 1 of tuscany EDC at home, so i'll be well-scented for a long time.

of course, i do want to get a sandalwood EDC............. and maybe EJ's sandalwood aftershave balm............

AD? nah, i'll be fine :lol::lol:
