@Cafebarian I am happy you are getting some benefits from the testing. I am thinking about adjusting the weighting to make it easier to differentiate between good and bad blades. And finally thanks for the kind words.

Yes, I think some sharper blades are in order. When I get home, I can make another inventory and do some of those. However, RAD kicked in and I purchased a Rex Envoy. Some of my favorite blades: Gillette Silver Blue, Gillette Perma-Sharp-Super, Gillette Platinum, Wilkinson Sword Classic, Gillette 7 O'clock Super Stainless Green, Gillette 7 O'clock SharpEdge. Someone else was interested in Astra Superior Stainless. And how about the collection of Lord blades. The Shark Platinum are still in the best tier along with ASCO. Any plans to get Wilkinson sword or any Russian blades in the mix?
I do believe you are going to like your Envoy. Perma-Sharp blade. Steep angle. Wonderful shaves.Yes, I think some sharper blades are in order. I think the Perma-Sharps sharpen after the first shave and then decrease sharpness on shaves 3 and 4. They are smoother than Feather blades. I think I will have to modify the shaving angle depending on blades.I do believe you are going to like your Envoy. Perma-Sharp blade. Steep angle. Wonderful shaves.
I look forward to your comments.I think the Perma-Sharps sharpen after the first shave and then decrease sharpness on shaves 3 and 4. They are smoother than Feather blades. I think I will have to modify the shaving angle depending on blades.
Some 3ONE6 vs Envoy comparisons might be interesting too.
