Queen Charlotte Soaps (QCS) – Custom Coconut

Lately, I’ve been searching for the right coconut shaving product to keep in my den. I really liked the GFT cream but I decided I prefer soaps. Mystic Water and Mike’s Natural both make great soaps, but both of them smell more like a toasted coconut/ vanilla than the raw coconut smell I desire. Matthew from QCS was kind enough to make a custom coconut shaving cream (soft soap) for me and it was at my door within days.

The scent of this one is a more natural, raw coconut scent. I would describe the intensity/strength of the scent as medium to strong. The performance of the cream was similar to their others, which I find to be top tier. I did notice this cream tended to be a little slicker and slightly more voluminous, which allowed for an amazing BBS.

I’ve used this product for the past 3 days and I’ve decided it’s the winner as far as the coconut soaps I’ve tried. I think the custom scent service offered by QCS is really underrated. You can really get anything you want within reason. Also, check out the picture. Having your name of the product is certainly a plus for all my fellow narcissists out there. I am currently awaiting the arrival of a Rose/lemon scent that tends to be popular around here, but I prefer the performance of QCS. In my case, I tend to forget how great their stuff is because it isn’t new or exciting at this point. A few of these croaps are going to be staples in my den for years to come.

I used QCS green Irish tweed this morning and it is great stuff. I have a puck of QCS lemon rose soap that I custom ordered I love it! I think QCS might be working its way to my #1 spot.

QCS is amazing... The A/S Balms are TOP NOTCH!! I've only tried the Vostok so far but will be looking to try other scents in the near future...

Thanks for posting. I had contacted Matthew a while back on a Coconut scent and/or a Coconut/Lemon (tradmark name pending Lemonut or Cocomon).

glad you found a winner and I also hope to get my hands on one of these when i next order, but i hope you don't mind, i'll change it to "Bruce's Coconut". :biggrin1:

I've got a custom lemon pomegranate. QCS without a doubt makes the best custom products around.

Im very curious about the coconut and lemon coconut sounds great too!

just want to add clarification (and maybe Amir can too), this appears to be the CREAM. which is in fact the same as a soft soap and from what I understand, used to be labelled soap, before QCS started making the Soap they do now (which is a harder puck form).

You are correct sir.

I too have used the QCS Green Irish Tweed and like it a lot, both the smell and the performance. In any case, if you like the GFT coconut cream but prefer soaps it would seem to me that the natural choice would be the GFT coconut hard soap in the wooden bowl.

I wish. I just don't find the new formulation Trumpers soaps to be up to par performance wise.

How much more does it cost to custom order a scent from QCS?

I think it depends on the scent you're asking for, as there is some variation in the cost of ingredients. Typically, as Bruce said it's just a few dollars more than usual.
