Quandary, quandary, quandary

I know where this poor little fat handle Tech is at; it's been just sitting there for awhile.

The plating on the head is gone, it has some green gunk under the head, and about the lower 1/4 of the handle has a pretty good coating of gunk. Other than that nothing looks bent or damaged.

There is also what looks like a little travel Tech that is in a bit better shape. It has a case but I don't think it's original.

I...will...NOT...succumb...to...RAD!

You could rescue those poor little razors, clean them up, replate the fat handled Tech, and help them fulfill their true potential as the amazing razors they were destined to be!

Alas, my foray into the wild did not yield any grateful results.

Up on closer inspection, the short handled razor that I had glanced at from a distance, that I had thought to be a travel tech, turned out to be a 3 piece old style head on a handle that appeared to have the end of the handle missing...like the end had been pressed in and had then came out. And the handle was cracked almost the whole length of the entire handle.

The fat handled Tech, that had the oblong holes in the safety guard instead of triangular, was in a little, pink ceramic mug along with a no name brush...for US$30. The guy wouldn't sell just the razor. I passed.

I did pick up an Auto Strop though...see the Curio thread: http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=145687

Oh well.
