After receiving the email from QED about the return of the Select, I have visited the website at least ten times trying to decide if I could spare the money. My SR 3824 is my favorite brush for just about everything, and I will someday get another just to put away for the day when the present one dies. Previous posts here about the Select being "better" have me stoked, though.
Of course, I have also had my eye on a Kent BK 8 for a while.
And I would not want my Rooney 2/1 Super to feel neglected.
What to do, what to do?

Don't know if this helps you for photo's, but took this a few weeks ago - it is a good brush I am very pleased with it.
I purchased it beginning of February

I just got a QED Select of the new batch. It is quoted as 24 mm knot but it is really 26mm. The shape is also less bulby than the 3824. The hair is very soft though in my case maybe with a bit more scrub than the 3824 I have but this may be due to the relative shorter loft. The handle is spectacular. Alltogether, an outstanding silvertip quality at un unbeatable price point. I can highly recommend the brush. It is outstanding!!

Did they go up 10% from before? Not complaining just couldn't remember if they were $100 before or $110.
