Putting a new knot in Parker chrome handle

When I first started DE shaving about a year and a half ago, I went to Amazon and bought what I thought was the coolest looking brush. This Parker chrome-handled "silvertip" brush.

Now I still think the handle is pretty awesome, but I hate the knot. I have a Semogue 1305 and a Simpson Duke 3 and both of those are at least functional. This brush really isn't. It is too soft and floppy and doesn't do well at building lather.

I want to take the knot out of the handle and put in either a better badger knot, or more likely, a long white boar bristle knot. The problem is, I don't know where to start. Could someone point me to some resources about getting this knot out and a new one in, and also where to find the best knots, especially boar?

Thanks in advance!
