I need to order some blades. I don't want to just order blades. What else do you guys suggest I order? Brush? Soap? Cream? Thinking of getting a new brush, but not sure. Thanks for the help.

What do you need and what do you plan to do? For brushes some folks like boar, others like badger. I'm a badger kind of guy. I've used a Tweezerman brush and have since upgraded, but, I still use the Tweezerman occasionally. Soap; glycerin or tallow? Van der Hagen is easy on the wallet and works great. A cheap tallow soap would be Arko and it works great. It's easy to start accumulating items quickly, and then you have a bunch of products which will last you several years. Take your time and have fun with it.

I have the vdh puck and like it a lot. My brush is not really that great. I was thinking of getting one that is a little more rough. Maybe an Omega or semogue.
