Puma Special question

I bought two Puma Special razors about 8-9 years ago. One I use and the other I put it in a drawer and forgot about. I found it again not too long ago, and I cannot remember what I paid for it at the time. What is it worth today? I searched the board but I could find very little info on this particular model. Any information regarding this razor and it's value would be greatly appreciated.

Also, as a 3/8ths it will be worth less than a 5/8ths. It is really a trim razor.

I totally disagree. I can get the same quality shave regardless of the size of razor, and price is entirely determined by the buyer. It may not be worth as much to you, but that doesn't mean he'll get less for it from someone else.

FWIW, most razors I've seen that say 3/8 are actually 4/8, so I'd say measure it.

I just measured it and it is 4/8.

Ah, I gotcha.

Pricing is tough for me too, especially with the high end razors. Well, hopefully someone will chime in and halp you out, cause I'm useless for this kinda stuff.

I have a 4/8" No. 10 with a little bit of pitting and a fair bit of hone wear I got off eBay maybe 4 months ago for ~$45. I'd guess in NOS it'd be worth 2-2.5x what I paid so 90-125 would be my guess.

the blade looks nice, but 3/8 is fairly small. i thought no.88 corresponded to 5/8, at least mine and the few others i've seen have been 5/8, but apparently they made them in smaller size too.
the scales are not original, so that's an additional minus.
i'd say best way is to go ebay. or list it on b/s/t and if you've asked too much keep lowering the price until somebody decides they want it (not sure if this type of reverse auction is really allowed, but seems to be fairly common practice).
