PSA - Monteverde replacing bad ink

Hi y'all. I know several of you got the free bottle of Monteverde ink from Goulet Pens around Christmas time when I did. If you haven't heard yet, Monteverde ink made in late 2018 has been known to develop a rotten egg smell. Monteverde's parent company Yafa has released a statement outlining the various measures they've taken to correct the problem - new equipment, increased cleaning intervals, etc - and are replacing affected bottles, no questions asked. So if you have a bottle of Monteverde ink, give it a sniff, and if its bad, contact Yafa.

My bottle of ink had the rotten egg smell. They sent me a new bottle pronto. I think Yafa is handling this mishap well.

Well, good info to know. So far I've not noticed any issues with the 3 bottles I have.. just luck of the draw I guess. But, if they develop the problem, at least it's easy to get fixed.

My Horizon Blue has a slight smell but not badly enough to replace it.
