Is it time to provide some protection to the 100 year old Razor/Wood Box. I can throw this 1920 Gillette Big Fellow into my Dopp bag without worrying about other items scraping and bumping up against the 100 old wood. I'm thinking of installing a tiny lock on the exterior wood box to protect from theft. A modern day plastic 10 blade with bladebank on back tuck fills the gap nicely.

Yeah, all it would really do is maybe add a level of cool. Maybe a tiny antique lock.

Well if one was to botch the job it is best to do it on the bigger box not the 100 year old box.

To protect and maintain the appearance of the wooden box, I'd wipe it down several times a year with a small amount of linseed oil (or similar product) and a soft flannel cloth
