Prorasso Red + Menthol = AWESOME!!

Gents,

I ordered a bottle of M-Bomb menthol/glycerin additive from TSD, and it arrived yesterday. This morning, I latered up some Prorasso sandalwood, added a few drops of the menthol (which added no scent, btw) and WOW! All of the excellent sandalwood smell and Prorasso performance PLUS an intense menthol kick.

Im going to try the menthol with some other soaps and creams. I suspect the combo of SIM and menthol will be incredible, as will CF Lime.

Am I addicted to menthol? I dunno. I'll just keep on using it until I find out!

I highly recommend the M-Bomb, though I am sure there are other additives out there as well.

Yes. I'm trying to break the habit, myself. The other day I Proraso Green Pre-Shave'd, Proraso Green creamed, Proraso Green After-Shave'd, and then Osage Rubbed. I have a problem....

I like to mix proraso red and green for a little menthol kick, but m bomb sounds like it would be much better if it doesn't change the scent. Thanks for the tip, I will be getting some m bomb now.

Update:

SIM + Menthol = Awesome
Tabac + Menthol = Meh...I like Tabac alone better
CF Lime + Menthol = Very Good!

Off Topic: Anyone tried the Prorasso Blue yet? I can't wait until Italian Barber gets it......

sorry but that kind of defeats the purpose for me in a shave cream. that distinct scent is what I personally appreciate and keep them separate.
Now sometimes I drop some cream into my arko soap (stored in a tupperware container) since I have aired it out and get that uberlather. the cream I use dominates the fragrance as arko is just soapy to me.
In the end, I found I simply enjoy sticking to soaps that hold their own, like a D.R. Harris, Arko, proraso. but whatever worx for u, have at it.

Thankfully, the menthol adds no real scent. That's the beauty of it
