I was browsing the Portuguese forum Barbear Classico where a member saw that someone posted a recent photo on Instagram of a "Yellow" Proraso shaving foam. Does anyone know anything about this mysterious new line from Proraso?

Hmm. Mysterious. It says "Tutte le Barbe" just like the Blue version, but the words below are different. Must be a new introduction! It says that it contains cocoa butter at the bottom. Can't read the other words.
Am I the only one around here waiting for Blue soap so I can complete my collection?

You are far from the only one. However, my discussions with certain vendors lead me to believe that not only is a Blue soap unlikely, the entire Blue line may be endangered.

That's a shame, I really enjoy the Blue cream and balm; not my favorite scent but excellent product none the less.
No , you are certainly not alone.. I am anxiously awaiting the blue soap as well..
Why discontinue it? It's great for sensitive days and will be a great help during the winter. I'm really not a fan of White on its own.

I can only surmise that sales of the Blue products have been disappointing in Italy and the rest of Europe, Proraso's primary market. The Blue is still relatively new, however, so I remain optimistic. I also would like to see a Red aftershave balm.
I'm hoping that Marco may know something about the Yellow. Our friend in Rome seems to be all seeing and all knowing when it comes to Italian wet shaving products.
I like Blue as well, but as long as they don't mess with the Green, I'll be happy.
Although it says PRORASO in capital letters on that yellow CAN,

It's amazing how they launched a Yellow foam but not a soap or cream. Strange things go on in the world of Proraso.

The Blue line was only a can of foam for quite some time before the release of the balm and then, last but not least, about a year later came the cream. Also note that the Blue had only limited availability in Italy for a very long time.
Despite our wet-shaving preferences here at B&B, the vast majority of people in the USA and Europe still use a "cartridge shaving system" and a can of goo. It's both unsurprising and entirely prudent that a manufacturer would first release goo to test the market for a new line of products before investing in the more niche cream and soap offerings.
I very much hope that our Italian friends like and purchase the Yellow goo so that Proraso both decides to manufacture a soap and cream and then make the products available outside of Italy.
Also note that Proraso is a fairly small company. I imagine that the launch of a new line consumes significant time and financial resources, and will therefore be accomplished slowly and carefully. Sadly, we must have patience.
It certainly would do not harm if B&B member's emailed Proraso to tell them of our appreciation for their products and our desire for more lines and even greater availability (particularly a Blue tub!). I have done so over the years on a few occasions, and have always received a prompt and polite response from Stefania Martelli. Nothing encourages a small company more than loyal customers clamoring for more product.
