Proraso user to ?

I'm new to the entire wet shaving experience...well about 3 weeks into it and I'm enjoying every minute...taking no fun shaving into me looking forward to shaving is amazing....so most of the video's I have watch or things I have read I went ahead and pretty much bought EVERYTHING Proraso....shaving cream, shaving soap, pre/after lotion, aftershave....EVERYTHING... I like the proraso products and judging by Geofatboy from shavenation.com he seems to like it too... can anyone recommend another good combination that I could try when I run out of Proraso????? Any tips or any suggestions would be great appreciated!!!

Yeah, I purchased the Proraso Sandalwood cream awhile back and have to say it is great stuff!!
Their products are quite good and most affordable. If you want some other good creams that won't break your budget, try the TOBS line.. You can't go wrong there. I have their recently released Grapefruit scented, it is truly amazing!! The Rose fragrance is nice too, more traditional so to speak....

I'm not too worried about price my man....when it comes to this beautiful mug I spare no expense.. lol...but yeah I heard that TOBS isn't too bad but SOME reviews don't rank it too high....I don't know what I will go to next.. I kind of like the menthol feeling...just feels right.. lol...

Menthol: Valobra. Good soft soap/hard cream. Nice in the almond version too.
Almond: Cella is an outstanding soft soap.
A good cream for me is Cyril R Salter. I have sandalwood and rose and they are stunning. One of the most underrated creams IMHO.
You can find good creams/soaps in the D.R. Harris line. Arlington is one of the best summer cream available.
Another good, cheap, underrated cream is the Erasmic (cream, not stick or soap). The scent reminds me a... Barber shop! Excellent lather cream.

Proraso makes great products.I love the green in the tub.TOBS also make great creams,I love the jermyn st,almond, rose and sandalwood.Another good cream is from www.alsshaving.com. They are all natural and he will even do custom scents.

My wallet cries.
Hello, I don't have much experience with many different creams (a tub/bottle takes me a while to get through, and I only have/use one at a time) but I just finished some Kiss my face Lime, and Kiss my face Promegranet and had no problems, easy to lather, lubricating, great scent. The Bottle even comes in a clean/easy to use pump that just sits on my bathroom sink ledge. I picked mine up at Whole foods, but i've seen it at Real canadian superstore for a buck less in the natural foods section.

I'd suggest ordering samplers from different places.

Trufitt & Hill, Queen Charlotte Soap, Mama Bear, Mike's Natural, Mystic Waters, Taylor of Old Bond Street, and whatever else you can think of.

Also, just pick up a Mitchell's Wool Fat shave soap. It tricky, it's very good, and everyone is always talking about it.
Speick shave cream also comes personally recommended.

I am a big fan of the Tabac product line, but be warned, the scent is not for everyone. I don't think they have pre/post product but they do have Soap, Sticks, Aftershave Splash (love this stuff), Aftershave Balm, Hair products and even bath soaps and gels. If you are like me and love the Tabac scent then you will enjoy all you need. They are everyone top quality.

+1 on ToBS. I also used their new grapefruit cream this morning and it really blows me away. I'm also a huge fan of their Rose and Avacado. My next purchase will be some d.r. Harris based on the accolades I read about their products.

Never run out of Proraso, and expand from there. If price is no object for that mug of yours you should try Martin de Candre. Fantastic stuff.

+1 on Cella. I'm also pretty new, and also started out with Prorasso, the red cream tube, as well as some TOBS I can't say I liked as well. I'm trying to expand out and my next try was Cella. I love it, even more than the Prorasso. I just got a refill puck of Mitchell's Wool Fat that I'm going to try as soon as I can find a dish to fit it in. I hope one day price will be less of an object and I can try Martin de Condre.

Eshave Orange Sandalwood is a great cream and you can buy pre shave/cream/post shave balm all in that scent. It is quite expensive though. Proraso in the UK is around £6 rounding up where as eShave is around £16. It's not for everyone. If it's too expensive try The Bluebeard's Revenge (Dreadnaught in the USA). Apart from the aftershave the cream and post balm are around £10 each here.

For a different approach, jump into the most controversial soaps and creams. I guess 20% of the posts on B&B-Soaps subforum have to do with the pros and cons of the following:

Arko stick
Tabac stick
Mystic Waters soap
Mitchell's Wool Fat soap
Cremo Shave Cream (brushless)
Williams Soap (US)
