Proraso Ultra Sensetive Skin Cream

Hi all,
First time on this forum just recently came across it,
Since deciding to switch to DE shaving i am just about to order a edwin jagger de89 razor,
And at the same time aquire some soap/cream,
I've decided to go for proraso but theres 2 different variants,
The green menthol tub or the one im going to get the white tub
Ultra sensetive skin proraso,
Having used tobs sandalwood with my previous 5 blader,
Has anyone tryed this proraso ultra sensetive skin cream and can recommend it ,
i've heard good reviews about the green tube but none about the ultra sensetive.
Any help would be kindly appreciated
thanks guys:thumbup:

I've used the green a fair bit, and used the white once. I really like the scent of the white, and had a decent shave with it. If you don't like the white, I think you could easily get right of it on BST.

I literally just finished shaving with Proraso white tub for the first time. The smell was pleasant, the shave was nice and smooth and the face feel afterwards is excellent. So far I'm very impressed. I look forward to using it again.

Ive used tobs sandalwood and found that my skin didnt like it was irritating like crazy
so thought i would get this as it says for sensitive skin
should be here today then can have a go
Thanks

I think it's often the scenting oils that will irritate someone, so I'd try to stay away from overly perfumey creams. Something like either Proraso would work well, I would think. Not sure what it is about the Proraso white, but I really like the scent. As a side note, it's the ONLY cream or soap I have that my wife will whip her head around about, and say "wow I REALLY like that". :001_cool:

I've used the old white tub formula (green tea and aloe), and like it. It's got a small amount of menthol, and a subtle, fresh, green scent. Typical of Proraso products, it lathers easily and well, and performs wonderfully. The new formulation uses colloidal oatmeal instead of aloe, and drops a few of the previous synthetic ingredients. It should be even better!

As expected mine came today
Not used it yet but opened to have a look
it doesnt have the same feel as TOBS
Feels more rubbery and sticky As if its a soap and not a cream as described
is it just mine or is this how its meant to be

It's affectionately known as a "croap", or an "Italian soft soap". It tends to blur the distinction between soap and cream.

The information is very interesting. I like the post. Thank you, this advice will come in handy. It made me understand something, and it is that I never knew before.
