Proraso Red?

I love the Green but I have skin issues with most Sandalwood products I've tried. Any Sandalwood sensitive shavers out there using the Red? Thanks

AOS Sandalwood Cream irritates my skin a bit but the Proraso Red didn't have an ill effect on my skin but my nose didn't agree with it too much. I have an order in for Proraso Blue though, we'll see how that goes.

I'm sorry to say that I seemed to have a bad reaction to the Proraso Red. I've only used it once though so the jury is still out. I also had a bad reaction to my T&H sample of sandalwood.... again only a couple shaves so I'm not sure. I seem to fine with GFT sandalwood though.

I've used the Proraso Red for about 7 shaves now, and it has slightly irritated my skin on all the shaves. It's not a terrible irritation, much less than any other sandalwood soaps/creams I've tried. Most sandalwood (Tabac included) and lavender scented shave soaps give me a slight irritation, as does the Arko shave stick. It's too bad, as I really like the way Tabac lathers and shaves.

Proraso Red works very well for me, but get red and irritated by TOBS Sandalwood. My understanding is that Proraso Red works well for most shavers.

Using Red but feel its kind more creamy ...haven't tried others, black or blue...but def will give a try...so far the sandalwood ok for me...havent used for some time as been rotating between palmolive and ikar(current pref)....

I've used the Red for several shaves now and am very pleased. It's soft on the skin and the smell is a keeper, at least for me. Most of the reformulated Proraso products (especially the white balm) left me disappointed after an initial burst of love, but both new creams (Red and Blue) seem to do the job just fine.

I have sensitive skin. The only creams that I have tried that dont irritate my skin are Proraso green, red, and NB (and I have tried a lot of creams). So, based on my experience, its definitely worth spending $10 to try for yourself.

I used my red Proraso again this morning and it is hard to think of a cream that lathers as easily and leaves the skin so well conditioned afterwards.

Well I ordered a tube and I love this stuff, earthy scent, great lather and it didn't burn my face.

Finally something we both agree on Jay!:a45: You should really try the Proraso AS splash its fantastic! I just ordered the croap version in the red tub. Loved the cream but I'm more of a soap guy.

I lean toward soaps but been using this proraso red cream for 6 months as part of my 3 rotation. I enjoy it.it smells great, slick lather and great performance. personally I like the proraso creams better than the italian soap tubs like proraso and razorock. PIF'd some razorock

I refuse to agree with you so I take it back Patrick  Is the croap better than the cream? When I finish the tube I may have to invest in a tub.
