Proraso Pre/Post shave cream?

I like it. I am not sure that it improves my shave, but the sensation is pleasant for me. I use it as pre-shave.
I think it's a good product. I don't use it anymore as I realised that a hot shower is enough to prep my skin.
I really like it. It is not a necessity, but I really like it as a pre-shave. The menthol is very nice in the shower.
Nice one, as a pre-shave in the summer especially.

For me it works out pretty well before a shave and it does make an improvement in the quality of my shave.
On the other hand, i know a lot of persons like it as an after shave but my skin can't handle it, everytime i used it as an after shave i got an unpleasant feeling .

I use it both pre and post. Does the business for me.
i have the white sensitive skin version and i use it if i have to shave on successive days. I usually give me face a rest every other day and this stuff really helps reduce the irritation if i do have to shave two days in a row. Never used it as a post shave.
Use it as a pre-shave only when I have to shave without taking a shower before (seldom).
Use it as a pre-shave every day. While my Proraso shave cream is heating up in the sink, I apply the pre-shave cream then warm my face a few times with a hot wash cloth. Once I've got my face nicely warmed and prepped, I lather up with Proraso shave cream and the rest is a cake walk. No irritation and always a close shave. Don't like it as a post shave though. I found that my face was too oily by about noon. For post shave I use the Proraso After Shave Balm. All three products are great!
Not required but preferred. Use it most days as a pre-shave and really enjoy it. If not wearing an AS will sometimes use it as a post shave as well.

I use it as a post shave every day. Have three extras hoarded away just in case the balloon goes up.
The regular one is too high on menthol for my taste but I use the 'sensitive' version regularly. Since showers and hot towels don't work as a prep for me this is pretty much my preferred start of a shave. With it I need one pass less and it makes my blades last longer. Not much use IMO when you shower before you shave but a great asset when you don't.
Noxzema, in the large jar, smells the same, has similar ingredients, and costs much less than Proraso. It is available at most drugstores. Try it...you'll like it!

Okay, I've heard this mentioned a few times on the board. But does it really perform similarly? Or is there a fatal flaw?
I've tried both and they produce the same results...no fatal flaw. If you were to perform a "blind" test of each product to compare the two, I don't believe you could tell the difference.
