Proraso Love

I finally picked up some Proraso preshave to go with my Proraso shaving cream. I am loving both the shave cream and the preshave.

My question is, what other Proraso products do you like? Do you use the splash and/or balm? Does anyone use the splash and the balm after shaving? How would you describe the smell of the splash and or balm?

I am asking because I am about to exclusively use Proraso - I have been so happy with the results.

honestly im not sure, sorry. i want to say its unscented but it has a scent. it's not your typical aftershave scent that will stick with you for a few hours after your shave and make you smell good. it goes away pretty quick. i usually apply cologne a few minutes after the shave and the Proraso sent is masked.

Been using Proraso Sandalwood scented cream and Sul Filo del rasoio (made by Proraso) balm lately. Great combo.

I love the Proraso preshave but I use it as a post shave. After I rinse off after my alum block I apply the pre(post?)shave and then aftershave balm. The eucalyptus/menthol feels fantastic on freshly shaven skin!

I use the splash and it has a great cooling effect after the initial burn. I can't really describe how it smells, but it is a clean scent and doesn't last for too long. I think it smells great and the triple cooling effect from the pre-shave cream, shave cream and the splash is just awesome. I highly recommend it.

Proraso Green - pre, soap/cream to me have a classic barbershop-style scent: fresh, some light citrus and menthol. After beginning this journey there was a loooong time where I used the Raso exclusively - especially in Summer. It's a great experience to use the pre, lather up and finish with the AS. I use all the Proraso Green, Red and White gear - just haven't used the new Blue.

I second the opinion of the splash. Unlike other alcohol splashes this one leaves your face moistured and great. I bought about 8 bottles when I visited Italy in August. I don´t think I have reached for my higher end ones ever since. The scent is very FRESH but don´t last very long which I think is great in a subtle "barbershop way". It comes with a nice sting (from the eucalyptus). Without a doubt the best splash in this price range. It also beats above- Trumper´s, TOBS etc.
Highly recommended. For extra coolness (sting) use it togheter with the pre-shave cream (I rarely do)

I love proraso as well. The splash has a clean maybe fresh linen type scent, very pleasent. The balm not so much. It's too heavy for me. I prefer the simplicity of the Nivea balm. Oh and the white pews have is good to w/o the menthol kick. I use that one with the red shabing cream

I have the whole line and I must say it's amazing, you could lather it with a dead rat! Great stuff.

I'm a massive Proraso fan. I've got the green cream, the red cream, the green soap and the splash. I really can't find a single fault with any of them, if I wasn't such an after shave whore I would go through a bottle of the splash a month. Whenever I travel I use it exclusively and I'm never bored, every shave den should have a bottle.

I used the Proraso green tub, applied straight to the face by an Omega, and then finished with the splash.

Feels great. The soap is possibly my favourtie, great slick lather and I like the menthol kick that's there.

the splash is also amongst my favorites. I love the that great wave of cooling that kicks in after the inital burn, just makes me feel so fresh and clean. Perfect way to feel after a shave, imo of course. the splash has a fresh, sort of medicinal, scent which really doesn't last that long. the missus tells me it's a pleasant clean smell but its gone pretty quickly so apply an EDT afterwards of your choice.

Also for a splash it doesn't dry your skin up, not as good as the Clinique Happy in this sense but that's 3 times the cost.

I love Proraso shaving gear. could quite happily live with just that (he says slightly tongue in cheek).

been hearing about proraso red , can't find it anywhere i buy my products from.... any ideas??

I am a HUGE fan of Proraso. The ASB is great. It's lightly scented. I'm not sure what the scent is. It reminds me of spring. It has a sweet smell. The wife loves it!

Seems like I have some things to try in the very near future!

I am trying to be good by using what I have before collecting more. I am currently using Nivea splash (the blue stuff that someone described as smelling like a spikey hair teenager) and the sensitive Nivea balm.

I look forward to getting the whole Proraso line! Just shaved with it and am enjoying the cool feeling!

I purchased the Proraso Preshave the other day and gave it a try. I thought that it smelled like VicksVapo Rub... maybe that's just me though.
