Proraso: lotion, balm or both?

I do both Green with the splash first.

I have only used the splash, but I got a sample of the balm in this week. I'll give it a try and report back.

I prefer the balm. The original green balm has been reformulated I think.

Both for me, but the splash (lotion) is used about 95% of the time. I save the balm for the winter months or if my skin needs a break or some extra moisturizing. I don’t know about anyone else, but when I use a balm in the warmer months, my upper lips sweats almost non-stop. The alcohol splash- nada.

I can't stand balms,too sticky.
So it's the splash for me.
Red during the autumn and winter,green during the spring and summer.

I've settled on green with green. It's just a refreshing combination.
