What's new

Proraso is drying out--what do I do?

I've had a tub of Proraso since April; it was my first "cream", and my first DE shave. I've enjoyed it quite a bit. I recently got some TOBS (Sandalwood) and it was a LOT more liquidy/creamy. From what I can tell, the consistency of my TOBS is what my Proraso ought to be--but my Proraso tub has always been hard enough that I can swirl my brush around in it 2-3 times and not get hardly any of the soap on the brush--after reading around on here, I've been lathering it similar to how you're supposed to lather a soap. It's a similar consistency to hard frozen ice cream. Is there anyway to restore it to it's creamy consistency?

If your Proraso is in a tub not a tube, it is the soft soap version and it is more firm than the cream.
