Proraso Green vs. Sensitive cream

I have used both and I find the sensitive(white) less irritating although I still use both. Ifirritation is a problem the proraso preshave works great IMO.

I like and use both creams, but generally prefer the White. It has a more subtle scent and a less intense menthol kick.

The Green has always been my favourite Proraso. It's also the most common one in Italian barbershops and for very good reasons IMHO.

I tried the green a few years ago and the menthol was just too intense for me. I got curious and bought the white because I read it was milder. It's either mislabeled or I'm a menthol wimp as it still pretty harsh.

Welcome to B&B, Bobus. I hope your stay with us will be informative and enjoyable.

I take it from your comment that you have been lathering creams (and maybe soaps as well) for a while. I haven't used the Proraso cream but have used the old-formula green tub and that doesn't seem to have the strong menthol kick you describe. I wonder if the creams had more menthol than the soaps do (I can't speak to the new formulation as I haven't tried it).

Performance is equal between the two but I prefer the green by a mile, I cant stand the smell of the white at all. YMMV and all that.

My mistake. I've got the soap in the tub.
