Well I gave Proraso's new(er) formula a go this morning. Heres a quick rundown and some feedback to our menthol lovers. I used a Semogue 830 boar and found loading to be simple, like the old formula (Note: I've noticed some B&B members talking about having difficulty loading their brushes. This product seemed one of the easiest.) I soaked the boar while showering and gave it one shake before doing my spining/swirling load. Maybe 10 seconds, no joke and it was full. Then to my bowl, where I took another 30 seconds to a minute to finish lathering. Lather was thick and the boar brush was able to stand in the lather without tipping over.
Now onto the reason why I was posting. For all of our menthol lovers in B&B.......This is worth the $8-$10 IMO. I always brush my shaving soap on first, then let it sit while I brush my teeth. Tingles all the way with the Proraso. After each pass my face felt cool and I didn't have any problem with a standard 3 pass shave. If your ordering another product from an online seller and have room inside your S&H, go ahead and give this one a 'go.'
I like the smell of Proraso's Sensative White slightly better, but think the green gave me a better shave. Overall happy with the purchase and bought a couple more. Happy shaves everyone!
