Progress, I hope

I now sit with a poor mans kit and a Kruzo co. straight from WD. It is german, maybe solingen?

I had a Torrey, honed by WD.

So I think I like the torrey more, but need more testing....

I am starting to strop better and better, its got a few tiny knicks.

I need to watch videos on it, and shaving in general, but I am stubborn, and like to learn on my own for most part.

I would really like to get some input on some legendary straights, new and vintage.... I keep hearing solingen on sheffields.

I bought some mikes soap and had a few bumps from my last venture using DE and straight, but I couldnt wait to use the soap.

So here I am, with extra irritated bumps, but I shaved 100% with straights.
I will heal up before I do it again, lol.

I only shave my neck due to a beard, its not bbs but its decent!

Are there any pass arounds going on? Id love to try some different razors, even kamisori, specially some of the "legends"

I'm with you. I've been playing around with straights lately and getting a feel for them. I still have to finish off with a DE but am being patient with my technique. Good luck!

Not surprised you like the Torrey better. They are great razors.
