What's new

Procrastinate much? Me? Never!

So I have a very important paper due Monday on the Court's continued narrowing of §1983 claims and the impact on other federally protected rights. I've done all the research but it's such a nice day I went running then took my time with a nice long shave late this morning.

Anyone else ever use a nice long shave as a means to procrastinate impending deadlines?

Why do it today if you can put it off until tomorrow?

Mostly because of the length. At least I've got all the research done, just have to type, type, type.

I fear studying for the Bar this summer will involve many, many shaves...

All. The. Time.

It's a particularly great way of refreshing yourself during an all-nighter: shaving at 4 a.m. is sublime and surreal.

Currently studying for the CFA Level 1, and not progressing as I'd like..... My own fault of course.

The Bar exam is a wicked tool of torture that is neither necessary nor warranted.

I'm with you!

My plan for the morning was to get up early, write 2 research papers, then shower, shave, etc.

Well, I got up late, then wanted to shave really bad, which requires a shower.

So I'm just a little behind on the plan....

I'm the president of our local procrastinators club, been a group for 12 yrs. haven't gotten around to our first meeting yet....

I'm in that club. There's a point where you don't know if it's very early morning or very late at night. The rest of the world has checked out, and you get the sense that if you went for a walk you might see God's stage crew shooting awkward glances at you as they set up the next day.

Taking a year off of studies this year has been awesome for shaving...but I'm starting to worry about what it's going to be like this Fall...:bored:
