problem getting AS out of bottles

anyone have any problems with getting AS out of their containers?

I bought a small bottle of Old Spice and it seems like every time I use it I have troubles

1st time I turn the bottle up and nothing then it pours out.

today I had to turn the all the way upside down and then it finally comes out too much.

Is this a ploy by the makers to get you to use more of their product and thus having to buy more sooner?

I also bought a bottle of Aqua Velva and it has a huge hole in the top that pours out product too much.

try holding the bottle of as at a 45 degree angle and tap the tip against your receiving hand until just the appropriate amt comes out. this way you're not pouring the A/S and you might have more accurate results.

I've found that the caps to Thayer's Witch Hazel fit on top of the AV plastic bottles. Makes pouring out a perfect amount a lot easier!

I have AS and Cologne bottles both with and without in-built pourers. For the bottles with large neck openings, I simply put my thumb over the hole, invert the bottle and let enough of the splash drip into my other hand.
