To me, it looks like someone made some modifications so different blades would fit.

A lot can happen to a razor in 80 years. It appears a lot happened to that one since it cleared QC.

The cuts have no plating, it's not a QC issue.

It does look like a regret that happens after drinking too much.
it also shaves ABnormally loud. Orders of magnitude.
still the shave was great. Was worth spending about $5

Bought a couple of fatboys,, a couple of slims, a Mercur slant, a star, nice techs, a couple of straights.
a couple of flair tips, a couple of Older superspeeds. I am not unhappy.

Drinking and shaving is rarely a good idea.

It’s still a good shave as a NEW LC, long live doing stupid while messing with razors.
I messed up a couple while i was half asleep.
