Probak razors

The Probak came to my attention, since there's almost nothing vintage that isn't super rare and very expensive that interests me and I'm a bit curious about them. I know the history behind them and that's pretty much all I was able to find, but I want to know more about how the razor shaves and especially if it's made out of zamak or not. I just want to know if they are worth buying or not.

I had one. Yes they are zink. Decent, if unremarkable, shaver. Long gone, because it was...zink.

I feel your pain, there is always the "I wonder..." hanging out there!

It's not that I have a strict no zamak policy, but I wouldn't pay more than $50 for a zamak razor regardless if it's modern or vintage. My only exception would be if I find something very rare in prestine condition and the razor in question costs at least a 100% more of what I've paid.
