Was on a site the other day selling Dovo strops, which described the Rindleder as "professional quality for home use" ( fair enough) but sung the praises of Russian leather in detail. Is thre an appreciable quality jump between the two?
I have both of those strops, and I use Rindleder as "professional quality for home use" as my daily strop, it works very well, the only trouble is its short so don't go crazy with a long stride. I have the Russian leather strop too, but I may just have a bad one, because its was very hard to break in, it was very cupped even after using a glass bottle on it my razor does not sit flat on the strop. I am thinking of getting a Miller russian leather and see how that works
