Pricing advice for single edge razors

Hi all

I'm going to be selling a few of my razors in the BST section soon, and just want some pricing advice. Razors are:

- Gem Jewel (pristine condition, cased. It is actually this one: http://wiki.badgerandblade.com/index.php/Jewel)
- Open chrome micromatic (shaver grade - a bit of brassing, but in good mechanical condition)
- Bullet tip micromatic (good used condition)
- 1901 Campfe star lather catcher, with case (possibly not original) and stropping attachment. Excellent condition.
- Everready injector type G - reasonable condition
- Schick injector type J - reasonable condition, with slightly worn case

I'd appreciate your help!

Cheers
Richard

Most SE's are under appreciated - great for buyer, bad for seller! I got the 3 in this pic off the bay for 99 cents, the only bid....Your Lather Catcher can get some serious money, and the late model Schick Adjustable with matching case also gets a lot of bidding action on the bay.

What he said, except that maybe if you are selling to fellow New Zealanders, the razors will be harder to find there and therefore worth more.

Except for the Lather Catcher and maybe the Jewel, most of those razors can be found in the U.S. at pretty low prices. I paid between $5-$15 shipped for my type Gs, $12 shipped for a type J, between [Correction] $2.60 and $12 for different types of Micromatics, mostly in good condition.

Man, I tell you what... I just tried a micromatic clog pruf and so far I'd say it was better than de shaving. Easier to find angle for me; plus I'm guessing the thicker blades do make a difference, I know it's a louder shave for sure. Anyway, I got a case+micromatic on ebay for 9/10$ shipped. It was definitely in need of a little oxy/lysol and I took the case fabric out and fitted rubber matting inside, but it looks great now. Just something to go off of price wise.

I'd say a whole bunch of us would agree. I used an MMCP this morning and wouldn't trade the shave I got from a Ted Pella blade that already had five shaves on it for pretty much any de razor shave.

I'd suggest looking through the B/S/T for similar item sales and base your prices on that.

After I get through my 10pk of Personnas, I might look into trying those pfte Pellas. Wish the 2 places I've seen online would sell in something like 25pk or 10pk. I mean I wouldn't have a problem with a 200pk (last forever), but going off word of mouth for bulk only is iffy. I'll have to keep a look out if people go in on a purchase. How many shaves you getting on those?
