I am considering buying the Pre de Provence soap and was wanting the best match in an aftershave. I've been looking at the aftershave balm (Pre de Provence) and the aftershave (Verlaine Provence Sante) Does the Verlaine go better with the Provence Sante soap or will the Verlaine compliment the Pre de Provence as well? I want the aftershave to compliment the Pre de Provence soap. Thanks for your help

I used both Pre de Provence soap and Pre de Provence Baume Apres Rasage yesterday. Incredible combination!

I'll vouch also for the PdP balm, both in combo with the soap and on its own.
Good value, a little goes a long way, a nice scent usable with a wide variety of woodsy/floral/spicy soap/creams, plus moisturizing.
My go-to balm in fall/winter/early spring.

I use PdP regularly (sort'a), and frankly Aqua Velva goes really really well with it.

You know what goes very well with PdP soap? Dominica Bay Rum AS splash and the PdP balm. Weird-sounding, but it is actually a complimentary combo. At least, IMHO.
The Pre de Provence soap is so moisturizing you can almost get away without an aftershave. But the PdP soap and aftershave balm both have a lovely sage scent. Very nice.

+1 I absolutely love the PDP Balm...it must be the Shea butter.
I am currently on a month long Pre de Provence "journey" and I love it! I do not have the ASB, but I have yet to find an AS that doesn't work with it. PdP has a very mild scent that is gone very quickly. This month I have used Old Spice, Ogallala BR L&P and Aqua Velva.
Pre de Provence ASB is great, but I don't like the smell. Try Institut Karite ASB. It might seem pricey, but you get a 8.5 oz bottle instead of a 2.5 oz tube.
funny..these 2 soaps are going to be added to my den soon, and i was debating on getting the matching a/s balms for them and/or decide on which one to get.
now i don't know which to get (i know, i know...get both), but if you had to decide?
