Prairie Creations: Scent Recommendations?

I've heard some of these soaps are "subtle" in the scent category. Well Chuck Norris aint subtle. I'm usually a Tabac, Moos, Arlington man, sometimes i "slum it" with Arko.
Have any of you all used one of these that sent your blood running south of the border? Or, should i stick with the heavy-hitters.

I like scents with a purpose when it comes to shave soap, and essential oils fit the bill. You might consider her "facial blend" which could be described as "minty" but it really does nice things for the skin, at least my own!

I seem to recall that you could order stronger versions of the stock scents. Might be a combination of old guy memory and wishful thinking, however.

EDIT: I looked over her site, and it's not a listed option...

A good opportunity to review my PC collection!
Here's my 2cts:

Strong scents:
Almond ; great scent, really strong, it is actually now a write-in scent, which means I think it is here for a limited time?
Alpine Snowdrift; menthol quite present
Rose; great rose scent, quite potent

Not so strong scents:
Lavender
Lemongrass & Sage
Tea Tree
Tranquillity

Hors category:
Watercress and Aloe

I've been meaning to try out a Dragon's Blood soap, so if you do so please let us know how it is. I like Tabac a lot too, so I'm into the stronger soaps and would love to know if Dragon's Blood soap is any good.

Nice signature :thumbup1: Yeah, I might just have to give one a whirl. I was thinking more "Wild Wild West", or "Cool Spring" Any thoughts?
At the moment I'm a little too absorbed in trying to make my own English Fern fragrance in order to add it to a good puck of tallow soap and/or wear as a frag. So far it's coming out good, just waiting for my Tonka Bean oil to arrive....

The QED soaps are heavy hitters. These soaps are loaded with EO

Hah!! I saw that the other day. Why didn't you think of that Lucas

I was inspired to write that after a thread where some guy was trying to decide whether or not to try out Tabac I think. If you would like to though Lucas, I have no problem with you using that as well, I mean come on I can't say no to that when your posting alias is Chuck Norris!

I've honestly never tried Prairie Creations soaps, all I know is Dragon's Blood is one of my favorite scents. However that's a hit or miss for me; it seems to be one of those scents like nag champa or patchouli in which you never know how it's going to smell until you try it since no two are the same. I read her description though and it sounds good, hopefully it won't turn out to be the soap smell that a lot of people try to pass off as Dragon's Blood (never tried a Dragon's Blood soap, so the experience I'm speaking from is incense). From the sounds of it your scent preferences are pretty similar to mine and both Wild Wild West and Cool Spring sound like good stuff. :thumbup1:

Thanks man, it would be pretty perfect and funny for my sig, although Chuck Norris doesn't need to make jokes, he makes people laugh out of sheer intimidation
