I've got a QED Sandalwood stick that I really love for travel, but it is getting a little low. Once I get the new sandalwood from the group buy, is it possible to refill the stick container with the soap after it's been melted?

Not to hijack, but is it also possible to melt a shaving stick (namely a QED one)? If so, do you just put the whole thing in thr microwave?

If you twist the soap all the way up and keep going the soap and the little plastic pedestal it is stuck to will come out of the shave stick tube. You should be able to pull off or break off the plastic pedestal from the soap stick. You might have to pick/scrape some soap from the plastic pedestal with a sharp pointy object. Place the soap in the (microwave safe) vessel of your choice, pop in the microwave, blast the soap in 10 seconds increment until uniformly melted, let soap re-set over night, and enjoy a great shave in the morning.
