Potential scales. What do you think?

Tacky as hell, but so is the blade! Will affix to wood and coat with epoxy. It's just a few bucks, so why not?

Might make it tricky to sell later, haha.

What's with the divot taken out of the tang at the pin?

Sure could! In fact, I have tried that, along with slate, circuit boards, burned wood and soon a bowling ball.
PLEASE tell me it's an Ebonite! I rolled my second highest game ever with an Ebonite!

And the circuit board ones were cool too.

Nope, a Brunswick! Sadly I can't remember if I did anything noteworthy with it, or not. I deconstructed it this afternoon. There isn't a whole lot of coverstock and I'm not sure if I can get enough for a set of scales out of it. The curvature really comes into play.

For me, bowling looks to be joining that long list of things I used to be able to do! As further testament to my oddness, I've thrown 300 from both sides. Smashed up my ring finger as a result of my inability to field a ground ball and had to switch to the portside. Had some success, but now I'm lucky to average 180!
