Potential Restore - Should I stay or should I go?

I like the shape of the handle but I don't think this handle is collectible or special in any way. It is a wood core with a hard enamel(?) exterior. It's a Strong Set. Any idea about its age? It had a horrendous horse hair or some other beast of burden knot originally.

What say you? It would be my first restore if I do it. Worthwhile?

If you're on the fence because of money, throw a Virginia Sheng in it. The prices are wallet friendly, and the quality is quite good in my experience. I have a silvertip, and a finest. After breaking the Finest in (getting the chemicals out, I think) I love it.

I think the finest would be right at home in that handle. Your choice though. I'll look forward to seeing your result whatever route you choose.
