Postman's been, which should I use first?

These two tubs dropped onto my doormat this morning. I normally shave in the evening but didn't get home until nearly midnight last night so today my face is covered with stubble as it's been over 36 hours. I'll shave tonight with a nice fresh Feather blade but which cream should I use first? This will be my first shave using a cream other than TOBS.



Which would you use first and why?

They're both excellent. All I can suggest is tossing a coin, either way you won't be dissapointed.

Do the sniff test to decide, sniff both them make the decision on what you feel like today.

proraso; amazing stuff. if you cant lather it, quit shaving

I's use the castle forbes if you will be shaving at night. The proraso menthol feels really nice and fresh but it seems to me more like a morning wakeup cream.

The Castle Forbes Lime is absolutely awesome! I had about 1/3 of a tub PIF'd to me as part of a huge package ( Thanks again Mendel! ) and it's really great stuff! I also took and partially loaded my brush with some Mikes Natural Coconut & then built a lather with that & some CF Lime for a wonderful coconut/lime scented lather that smelled so good I wanted to eat it.

I used the CF Lime and although the shave was good, I don't think I got enough product on my face to start with. The smell is superb and with a little more product, I'll get a great lather. I just about had enough for three passes and a touch up but it was very thin towards the end although I did end up with a good BBS shave.

Our water here is very hard and getting a good lather needs a lot of product. I only bought the smaller tub of CF because I couldn't find the large ones in stock - It's just a shame it's so expensive, I paid more for a 50g tub than I'd normally pay for a 150g tub of TOBS cream and I don't think I'll get too many shaves out of that tub.

Tonight I used the Proraso and I can pretty much repeat the comments I made about the CF Lime - I'm used to the TOBS creams which are quite soft but the Proraso is much firmer than I expected and I probably didn't load enough onto my face. I'll know for next time.
