Big ol' Ark?
Big ol' Ark?
Cool. Has it had a soak? Post a pic once it is cleaned up.I'm not sure but i think it's Dalmore Blue.
Bought it from UK, with wooden box.
Very dirty, used with oil.
I'll try it tomorrow.

I'm going to guess Hindo but take that with a grain of salt because I've never had one in hand.Found this small stone. Not a clue as to what it could be. Size 3-1/8”x2”x1-1/2”. SG is 2.557.
I am cleaning it up now. Will Lapp the top to see what comes through.
Picked up this 7 X 1.5 coti at a market yesterday for a song. First coticule for me so I am very keen to test it out.

Now all I need is the shipping container with all my belongings to hurry up and arrive.
Keep looking. Razors finishers are actually a dime a dozen as far as natural stones go. Lots of different stones are fine enough to finish a razor. Natural bevel setters worth a damn are the rarity.I wish I could find a finishing stone in the wild. I have some cheap synthetics of other grits but I have NO stone that would be a finisher.... Maybe one day I will get a finishing stone so I might can get my straights sharp...
