Post your lathering bowl. Non scuttle edition

I'm in the market for a new lathering bowl so I would love to see what you guys are using and how you like it. Pictures that convey size are greatly appreciated. Not looking for a scuttle but if you would like to show it off then by all means post away as well.

Thanks!!

A 1960's vintage stainless steel Danish gravy bowls. Two of them in different sizes. Large one for my large brushes (Polo12, Rooney 3XL). Smaller one for my more human sized brushes (Kent BK8, Duke2).

you should be able to find these at your local thrift store or on eBay (lots of them on eBay)

nice idea.

The integral rim catches all of the lather over flow which helps keep the counter clean and it also provides a nice place to hold on to.

I found both of these in the back of one of our kitchen cabinets a while ago when I was looking for "new things" to make lather in. Been using them exclusively ever since

I have a matching set of Sara Bonnyman scuttles and the lather bowl. It has a spiral kind of pattern in the bottom to improve lathering.

Here is the bowl.

I bought a bowl in a ceramics store on Mass Street (this place, I think) in Lawrence last week that I like a lot. No special design to promote lather production, but works well for me. I'll take a pic tonight and post it tomorrow.

Before I started using a G5 scuttle, I wanted a thin walled bowl that would hold a puck, be deep enough to lather on top of the puck, and be deep enough to set in the warm water of the sink while I shaved. This Tommy O'Brien bowl from Target was perfect. I could have used this for the rest of my wet shaving life!

I primarily face lather these days, but when I feel like testing a new soap/cream or just want to whip up a bowl of lather, I use this small cereal bowl I found in a local thrift store for a buck.

VDH in the old spice mug, and Proraso in the latte mug.
lately i've found that a thick, pasty lather works best for me(at least with VDH -my go to for the past month or so), so i lather straight off the puck with not secondary bowl, and typically don't add more than a splash more water than is in the brush after a gentle squeeze. i haven't used Proraso in quite a while -just whipped up a bit for this shot.

Cheap sundae bowl from Target. Liked it so much I sold my Dirty Bird bowl which I thought was too big. The ridges in the bowl line up great with your fingers and it fits in the palm of my hand great and is the perfect size.

Marvy rubber mug, extra wide, no loud noise when the brush touches the sides. The white warming pitcher holds hot water used for lathering up inside the mug.
