Just received the Craving Shaving "A Shade of Jade" brush. It has a 26mm Fan Fiction knot in it. It's a badger & synthetic mix but it looks just like a regular badger knot. Upon closer look, you can actually see the squigly synthetic bristles hiding among the finest bristles. I can't wait to see how it feels on the face!

It's a beauty! I would put what I would want to use the most, boar in my case. I think either would look great.

Nice brush, looks NOS. I’ve read somewhere what the numbers on the ferrule reflect; different knot lofts (if I remember correctly) but don’t remember any reference to no number on the ferrule. I’m sure someone that knows will chime in.

I got hold of a coupon at Aliexpress so I'm getting a long waited Boss knot synthetic from Yaqi!

Long story short, I got jibbed every time I tried to get a boss knot. It always came out to be very harsh on the face. But this one, I'm pretty sure it is soft and gentle on the face. It might not be the exact boss knot but I know it's darn close to it. Excited to try it out.
