BTW wore this to work one time...and got a compliment that day.

Yeah, the name sucks, but it's wearable by anyone. It's not "girly." But tastes vary.

The name is quite misleading, but the name doesn't really matter. It's one of the best rose scents I've tried. The longevity is just stupid, I can smell it even after showering

I bought it for my wife for Christmas. I think it is the only one of her fragrances that I reach for. I'm a big fan of rose and this is an excellent rose fragrance, although Creed Windsor and DC 1913 remain my favorite rose scents.

Windsor is my favorite rose. POAL is second best. Both masterpieces.

yeah, ignore the name for a second. It's roses sure, but also cloves, oud, etc. I do find it has a powdery very womanly side but it's got a real 'umph'. This is a LARGE fragrance. What I mean is, besides only one spray needed, it has a huge projection and longevity, and the smell is full bodied and rich. It's like most frags are a 3 piece band, you recognize the song, but PoaL is the full orchestra!
