Portman square - Notting Hill

Ok so I got this in a mystery box BST/PIF (it was way underpriced). It had this Portman Square, but I never see it mentioned and it seems to only be sold by Bull goose. I really like it first of all, it's probably the softest croap, I think it has identity crisis because you can almost use it as either.

Anyways, I realized this happens to be one of the most masculine scents I have and without it my collection I pretty flowery and fruity lol.

Other than mentioning how much I like this soap, I was wondering if any of you have even smelled this soap. I was curious about what you think would be close to that scent, I have been playing with essential oils, but I have no idea which oil is closest to it, I'm pretty new at playing with them.

I have the Collier Row also under the Portman Square label. I believe both are made by QCS for Bullgoose.
It's very close to a cream and can be used as either. I have not smelled the Notting Hill soap, but I have no doubt it smells great.

Portman Square was Bullgoose Shaving's house brand. It was made for him by Queen Charlotte Soaps.

It would appear that Bullgoose doesn't sell it anymore, but Matt of QCS could probably recreate it for you as a custom scent.

Oh boy I missed that! Doh! I just looked it up and then it was there. Makes me sadder that I'm about to finish it. I'll have to talk to QCS!

It should be a blend of cedar and lavendar EOs. Have a tub that I've dipped into less than five times and gave it to a friend to try. If he doesn't like it we could work out a trade, or I'm sure Matt could get it to you custom-made if it's really that dear to you.

I don't like finishing tubs but I think I'm going to try something similar but not the same. I'm thinking a cedar or other woodsy smell. Thanks for the cedar/lavender, I haven't played with wood type EOs yet, I'll have to get cedar and some others :)
