Portland General Store Soaps?

Has anyone used these soaps? The one I am really curious about is the whiskey scented soap. It says that base smell is ceder which I think would be a great fall or winter scent, mixed with some nice bayrum for a true festive shave. :001_tt1:

Any yays or nays about the soaps?

Shortly after joining B&B I used their TABAC scented soap, they later changed the name to Tobacco. I really enjoyed the scent and the soap was pretty slick, but I think they may have reformulated their soaps since then.

Be aware, that the formulation of the shaving soap has changed recently, and thus any reviews of the product are likely going to now be meaningless.

Here is the original formulation:

Ingredients: Coconut Oil, *Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerine (kosher, of vegetable origin), Bentonite Clay, Sodium Hydroxide, Sorbitol, Sorbitan Oleate, Sodium Stearate, Soy Bean Protein, Sucrose, Propylene Glycol, Wheat Protein, DMDM Hydantoin, Raw Beeswax, Goats Milk, Purified Water, Essential Oils, Natural Mica

Here is the current formulation:

Ingredients: castor oil, coconut oil, olive and palm oils, glycerin, cocoa butter, beeswax (yellow), apple cider vinegar, bentonite clay

The inclusion of olive oil in the current formulation wouldn't make me rush out to try it!!
