Pomade expiring?

Simple question do oil and water based pomades expire or go bad after x years? Is there any way to store them to extend the life of pomades while being stored?

If it starts to perform different or dries out, toss it. Other than that, no. Just keep the lid tight and you should be good.

I was bought Dax Green and Gold many years ago and still using without problem. Expiration date on thin is BEST USED BY 2025

I can't remember which pomade or product it was, but I had one that seemed to start separating after a while. I just mixed it up again with a popsicle stick and it was fine.
