Don't drink the Feather Koolaid. Its a very good blade for 3 shaves according to most of the experienced posters here, but no sharper than the SI or 7o'clock Blacks, or Med Preps. Most feel that the Feathers don't last as long as the others I've mentioned, but all of these blades can yield a smooth and close shave if your technique is good. If you're a beginning shaver, you're going to get some nicks and weepers no matter what blade you use. Its part of learning to wet-shave. As your technique gets better you'll find a lot of blades that will work well for you. If you're one of the people who feels there has to be a "sharpest blade in the world", then you will likely find one, but that path will just cause you to miss out on some other really good blades.
