Poll: What is your favorite type of synthetic knot?

Muhle. I’ve tried many and it’s the only one with tapering fibers at the tip which make it resemble badger more closely. Also, it lathers like a beast.

Simpson synthetic are also nice, although probably not with the money for the fibers alone compared to the Muhle (but the handles are the best available).

I loved my Plisson, my Fine and my Omega S.
To be honest, the Synbad and the Yaqi Tuxedo blow them away. They're both pillow soft but have backbone like a badger. The first three barely get used now.

Never heard about that one before. Anyone still makes brushes with it?

It's made by oumo, also I believe there are some yaqi brushes with motherlode. Just ordered mine from oumo in aliexpress, following the recommendation to ask for a 48mm loft, since motherlode knots have almost no backbone.
Also, the oumo handles look prettier to me.
