Rockwell 6S owners - Do you notice drag from unpolished head?

On a few videos and threads, I've read people complaining about the stainless steel head causing noticeably more drag than a chrome-plated razor.
Do you have this experience as well?
is it enough that you want to polish or plate the Rockwell 6S? or even just rather use the Rockwell 6C?

I never had any drag at all.
I expérience more drag with the Merkur Progress of lather isn't 100% perfect and lots more drag with the rex ambassador

I notice some drag, but it does't bother me much. I noticed this with the aluminum Henson razor, too. Not sure why, but the drag bothers me a lot more with the Henson. Perhaps the extra weight of the Rockwell helps by having gravity do some of the work.🤔

I'm not sure if the ''drag'' is the proper word, but I hated the feeling and ever since i'm avoiding similarly looking matt finished stainless razors like plague.

The only time I feel drag (using plate 4 most of the time) is when I let the Cremo get too dry. Rub a little water on the Cremo and it's back to Slicksville.

The drag is not noticable when shaving my face but on dome shaves its a different animal. Whacked my noggin good with that mini-hammer. The jump/skip occurred more than once so its off from headshave duties.

I noticed the drag from the first stroke. It was my only complaint with this razor. I used wet sandpaper (800/1500/2000) to polish the cap. Now it shines and glides effortlessly. Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Can you provide a picture of the razor now? Would be interested to see what it looks like after the sandpaper application.

Nice finish, but there is still a bit more possible:
