I tried looking it up but didn't find anything. Has anyone ever tried polishing their aluminum AL13? Is it a bad idea?

I wouldn’t polish it as you’ll likely strip off the anodizing.
Why? Or is it you just like shiny things?...like so many of us.

Yea. Guess I'll just have to buy a titanium one 
Polishing any metal strips microns off it and can alter tolerances.
I wouldn't do it unless the manufacturer is involved.

Very easy fix. Just polish the outside since that's all you see anyway.
