Pocket knife straight?

This is out of curiosity, I didn't buy the following item, and don't need to be saved from making a purchase like this. Currently I have no plans to buy a straight, and if I do, I'll get the best advice I can here on buying a good one first.

While searching for something totally different on eBay, I came across this. It seems that I've run across items like this before. Just wondered if the idea of a pocket knife with one straight razor blade had any credibility around here, even if this particular brand does not. Seems to me that I see a couple of problems with the idea, such as being able to hold it properly. Then again, I know little about straights.

Those knife blades are not really intended for shaving, they just call them straight razor blades because of the shape. The angle on the bevel is ground at about the same angle as a regular pocket knife blade, so even if the steel was good enough you could never get the edge fine enough for shaving.

It is a good type of blade for cutting the ends off cigars, though.

It's a sharp knife. Don't confuse it with a straight razor designed for shaving.

It seems that one of the biggest misconceptions of the straight razor is that it is this dangerous thing that can be used as a weapon (sweeny todd, matrix reloaded). One of the things I first noticed when I got my first straight is just how delicate the edge really is. The slightest ding can render the edge practically ruined. They are tools of precision.
