Please help identify this brush

I remember playing with this brush as a child. It was either my father's or grandfather's. I just came across it while going through some things from dad's house. I'm thinking of using it. Just wondering everyone's thoughts! I also couldn't find much information about the brush online. Look forward to hearing from you folks.

Not able to post a picture yet. The handle has a small black and gold square sticker with "Three Stars" and says "PURE BADGER" "foreign".

Will do. We'll see how it does in the morning! My first time really using a badger brush. I've done well with the Semogue 830 (Boar).
