Please help ID and evaluate a vintage Gillette

Hi,

I've been in contact with a guy in another part of the country who wants to sell an old Gillette razor. From what I can make out, it looks like an Aristocrat or a President (I'm not too clear on the difference, so please bear with me). I've inserted a picture of it below. First off, what is it, please? Second, is it worth anything—either for resale, or as a part of my own shaving rotation?

Thanks gents, the advice and opinions presented on this forum are always much appreciated!

Edit: I thought I should also mention that I asked this guy how he rates the condition of the razor, and he gives it 8–9 out of ten (for whatever that's worth). He says it has no scratches, tarnish or other damage.

I'd say it is not a President, the knurling is wrong. I am not sure if they made a safety bar Aristocrat though, all the searching I've done shows open comb. I'm new to this too so I'm not sure. Somebody will be by shortly and have all the answers soon I am sure!

Thanks for the info! The text on the lining (bit hard to make out) says "Made In England". On the back of the razor, it has "BRIT PAT 430030". That's as much information as I can get from this guy.

Looks like the Pat # comes back to #21. If the price is good, jump on it. You can always resell it to someone here.

Edit: Here's the one that sold on B/S/T.

It a appears to be a Rhodium plated Aristocrat No 21.
